Design Across Screens and Spaces

My path into UX/UI did not start with digital products.

I began in architecture and interiors, moved into a UI/UX role at a startup in 2021, and later took on campaign and identity design work while pursuing my MSc in Computer Science.

This page brings those earlier projects together as a quick, browsable showcase. These projects are included to show the broader design foundation behind my current work.

UI DESIGN

Quillatwill.com

Quillatwill was a conceptual writing improvement tool designed for school children. My work focused on design conceptualization, storyboarding, and rapid prototyping.

I worked within an existing visual direction, using the design system, guidelines, and assets provided by the team to create wireframes and high-fidelity screens across onboarding, dashboards, writing tools, diary flows, media selection, and desktop editors.

Architecture and interior design

Before moving into UI/UX, I worked across architecture and interior design projects involving workplace, retail, facade, and built fixture design.

This work helped me build a foundation in spatial thinking, materials, constraints, technical communication, and designing for real-world use.

CAMPAIGN GRAPHICS

U Mass Boston Recreation

During my MSc, I worked part-time as a graphic designer for campus recreation and student affairs.

I designed campaign graphics for health, awareness, and participation initiatives, translating campus identity and event themes into visuals for shirts, posters, and other campaign material.

VISUAL IDENTITY

Queer Student Center

During my MSc, I developed a visual identity system for the Queer Student Center at UMass Boston.

The logo system was built around the “Q” as a flexible mark, with variations for the primary logo, brand marks, merchandise, signage, and event graphics.

The QSC flag was a remix of Microsoft’s open-source Pride 2023 artwork, adapted for the center’s visual system.
